Today I thought I would start some maintenance work on my 2016 Nissan Frontier. This is just refilling up the windshield washer fluid, since it's becoming fall.

This is another easy task to do for a Toyota Prius 2012. In most cars changing the air filter is a pretty simple task and all you need is the air filter and know where it goes. Every 12,000 miles I change the air filter in my Toyota Prius 2012. 

Here a few things you'll need, I normally wear disposable rubber gloves(since you'll be under the hood, not for very long) and the air filter which you can pick up at Amazon. The filter I decided to use for my car was the FRAM CA10741 Extra Guard which you pick up here: 

Changing your in air cabin filter is pretty simple task. It only takes 5 to 10 minutes to actually change the in cabin filter. I have been to the dealership and they are looking to charge anywhere from 60 dollars to 90 dollars, to save some money and time, you can do it yourself. How ofter should you change it? I change mine every 15,000 miles, but I believe this all depends on your environment. If you car is driven in a rough environment, you might what to change it sooner.

Refilling your windshield wiper washer fluid is a pretty simple maintenance that can pretty much be done anywhere. You don't need to go to or need a mechanic and it only takes a few minutes to do it. Since I drive a Toyota Prius 2012, this takes me only about 5 minutes tops.
